Embracing New Beginnings

One of the biggest adventures of my life was moving from South Africa to Canada in the middle of the COVID pandemic in 2020.

Leaving behind my home in Cape Town and the life I had created, I felt like The Fool in the tarot deck, symbolizing limitless opportunities and a fresh start.

This blog chronicles my journey of starting over in a foreign country and wholeheartedly embracing the unknowns and endless possibilities that come with new beginnings. I openly share my experiences, challenges, and triumphs in reinventing myself at a very late stage in life.

To support me in conquering the feeling of overwhelm and anxiety about what the future holds, I developed a Life By Design Organization System. A tool that I use daily to track my progress and help me move forward towards creating a meaningful "Third Act" that aligns with my values and individuality.
